Truth is, I have a passport and have not used it in a while. That's a problem. So I figured why not go wild and think about all the incredible places I would LOVE to visit. Here are some of my DREAM places to go. Comment below and share some of the places you would like to travel!
Tahiti, French Polynesia
The country’s varied landscape ranges from just above sea level coral atolls to volcanic mountain peaks. The Islands of Tahiti are renowned for warm waters, white-sand beaches, stunning turquoise lagoons, lush green hills and abundant flowering plants.
South Africa’s scenic beauty, magnificent outdoors, sunny climate, cultural diversity and reputation for delivering value for money have made it one of the world’s fastest growing leisure – and business – travel destinations.
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Christ the Redeemer landmark on the top of Corcovada Mountain is one of the most recognized features of Rio and has on several occasions been named one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
You'll have seen a thousand photographs of the Pyramids of Giza by the time you finally get here, but nothing beats getting up-close-and-personal with these ancient monuments. Egypt's most famed and feted structures, these ancient tombs of kings guarded by the serene Sphinx have wowed spectators for centuries. Today, they continue to work their magic on all who visit. No trip to Egypt is complete without time spent here at one of the world's most recognizable tourist attractions. Towering incongruously over the edge of Cairo's suburban sprawl, these mighty monuments are a tribute to the power and ambition of Egypt's Pharaonic rulers.
Tourism in Antarctica was initially driven by the mystery surrounding Antarctica’s landscape. Antarctica’s wilderness, extreme climate and isolation from the rest of the world all contribute to its increased popularity over the years.
The cultural side of Tokyo is famous for its numerous things to do and top attractions, including museums, festivals, internationally noted cuisine, and professional sports clubs, including baseball, football, along with traditional Japanese pursuits like sumo wrestling. It's also a city rich in music and theater, with numerous venues featuring everything from Japanese to modern dramas, symphony orchestras, and pop and rock concerts.
I mean, who doesn't want to go where Jesus hung out? Jerusalem is a city located in modern-day Israel and is considered by many to be one of the holiest places in the world. Jerusalem is a site of major significance for the three largest monotheistic religions: Judaism, Islam and Christianity, and both Israel and Palestine have claimed Jerusalem as a capital city.
Switzerland boasts some of the world's most famous inventions – they created Velcro, cellophane, the Swiss Army Knife, the potato peeler, Helvetica font, and milk chocolate to name a few. They were also pioneers in introducing bobsleigh, tobogganing, and luge as a competitive sport to the world.
A trip to the Galapagos Islands will be the journey of your lifetime. The archipelago is blessed with pleasant weather all year round, so there is no “best” time to visit the precious islands. The Enchanted Archipelago is renowned as an iconic tourist destination – and with good reason. It features some of the world’s most unique and endemic wildlife species, wonderful beaches that continually rank among the world’s best.
Santorini is a volcanic island in the Cyclades group of the Greek islands. It is located between Ios and Anafi islands. It is famous for dramatic views, stunning sunsets from Oia town, the strange white aubergine (eggplant), the town of Thira and naturally its very own active volcano. There are naturally fantastic beaches such as the beach of Perissa, maybe the best beach in Santorini, the black pebble beach of Kamari, white beach and red beach.
